I know that coming to the dentist can be very stressful and even frightening. I promise you this: you'll be greeted by friendly people in a warm and caring environment. I will listen to your concerns and desires and we will work out a plan together. I will do my best to calm your fears as we develop a trusting relationship.

Dr. Clifford graduated with honors from Arizona State University. He received his doctorate degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He was awarded top honors in his class for oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Clifford served in the United States Air Force from 1983-1986. While there, he received extensive training in diagnosis, endodontics, oral surgery, I.V. and nitrous oxide sedation and was appointed head of the prosthodontics department.

Dr. Clifford has remained committed to continued education. He has studied Temporal Mandibular Dysfunction (TMJ) under the direction of Dr. Tanaka at the University of California, San Diego. Additionally, Dr. Clifford completed a "Comprehensive Esthetic Residency" program under the tutelage of Dr. Bruce Crispin of Esthetic Professionals where he received many hours of advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and bonding. He also completed a second residency program in full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Clifford is certified in laser dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Central Arizona Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Care, confidence, and quality embody Dr. Clifford's philosophy of dentistry. His desire is to make his patients feel comfortable and at ease while at the same time providing the best dental treatment dental medicine has to offer.

To this end, Dr. Clifford has put together a staff of wonderful, highly trained, friendly people. His office is equipped with the latest in dental technology, from lasers to intraoral cameras. Flat screen televisions, DVD's, stereo headphones, and nitrous oxide are available in the treatment rooms for his patients' added comfort. Also, "the wand" is offered to help minimize any discomfort from anesthesia.

On a personal note, Dr. Clifford is a native of Arizona. He especially enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Darlene, and their four children. They like camping, hiking, and exploring the countryside.

I’ve always liked to smile. However, my teeth were stained due to fluorosis and, more often than not, I would not let my teeth show when I smiled if I was meeting someone new. I also would cover my mouth sometimes when I was laughing so no one could see them. It was always one of those subtle things I was self-conscious about.

I’d talked to Dr. Clifford and his staff about fixing my teeth on and off for years. Finally, last spring, the opportunity arose for me to “have some work done.” I now sport 10 beautiful veneers and my smile is my new favorite feature. I smile at everyone, all the time. I never feel the need to cover my mouth to hide my teeth anymore. I’ve always been a fan of lipstick, and now it’s so much fun to go get it! It’s made a tremendous difference in how I feel about myself and how I present myself to others. My friends and family tease me about my movie star teeth, but they all love them too. I am so very pleased with the way they look and feel. It has really been a positive thing that’s made a world of difference to me.

I can’t thank Dr. Clifford enough for this remarkable transformation. I’m so lucky he’s my dentist! Thank you, so much, Dr. Clifford, and thank you to your wonderful staff.
